Our History

📌 The Beginning (1969–1975)

In May 1969, a group of men in Sabitan St., Sto. Rosario, Malolos, Bulacan, headed by Engr. Alfredo T. Aldaba and Mr. Ricardo O. Santos conceptualized the formation of a local bank. With the assistance of San Dionisio Credit Cooperative in Parañaque, Rizal, Sabitan Cooperative Credit Union was formed with an initial capital of ₱741.00. In 1975, this cooperative was again registered in the Bureau of Cooperatives under the name Sto. Rosario Credit Cooperative, Inc.

📌 Evolving for the Community

In 2002, the cooperative name was amended into Sto. Rosario Credit and Development Cooperative (SRCDC) with its aim to engage into other businesses aside from lending.

📌 Growth Through the Years

With more than 50 years of service, the cooperative now proudly boasts more than 15,000 membership and about ₱332 million of assets. It has received a number of awards, including recognition as one of the Most Outstanding Cooperatives in the Philippines in 1993 and a Hall of Fame award in Bulacan.

📌 Services & Loan Programs

Various loan types include Regular Loan, Special Loan, Commodity Loan, Character Loan, Cash Loan, Emergency Loan, Educational Loan, Consolidated Loan, Share Capital Loan, Memorial Lot Loan, Housing Loan, Lot Loan, 90-Day Loan, Back-to-Back Loan, and Pension Loan.

📌 Community Services

The cooperative also offers office space rentals and minor services such as AlalayansaKalusugan, Abuluyansa Koop, and scholarship support. SRCDC Heights Subdivision was developed to serve residents of Bulacan from all walks of life, including fisherfolks, professionals, market vendors, farmers, laborers, students, and overseas Filipino workers.
